How to Handle VAT (MVA) on QT Orders

If you're in Norway and ordering from us, here’s how to correctly handle VAT (MVA) when your QT Albums package arrives:
πŸ“¦ QT orders are always company transactions β€” not private ones.
If the courier sends you a tax invoice (like MVA from UPS), it means they incorrectly marked the shipment as going to a private person. This is WRONG.
βœ… What to do instead:

  • Accept the package, but don’t pay VAT to the courier (only the customs handling fee of approx. €10–20).
  • Record the QT invoice in your own accounting system.
  • Use Konto 4300 – Varer for videresalg to apply +25% VAT in your MVA report.

πŸ’‘ This way, VAT is correctly declared by your business in your next reporting period.

πŸŽ₯ We made a short video (in Norwegian with English subtitles!) that walks you through it:
